Meet the Maker: Lisa of Elsie Moss Botanical, Chesterfield’s Natural Skincare Brand

We sat down with Lisa, the founder of Elsie Moss Botanical, an independent natural skincare and bath and body shop based in Brampton, Chesterfield, to chat about her journey, her products, and what’s next for her growing business.

Elsie Moss Botanical specialises in natural, organic skincare, alongside handmade bath and body products including soaps, bath soaks, and aromatherapy blends. The brand is proudly 100% vegan and cruelty-free, from every product Lisa creates to everything she carefully selects for the shop. Using plant-based, natural ingredients is a key focus, along with eco-friendly, sustainable packaging to reduce environmental impact.

Lisa first began making soap around five years ago as a hobby. What started as a creative passion quickly grew into a side hustle, before becoming a full-time business as demand for her handmade skincare and vegan bath products continued to grow. Today, Elsie Moss Botanical has become a much-loved local skincare brand in Chesterfield, attracting customers who value ethical, small-batch products.

One of the things Lisa enjoys most is seeing customers return again and again. Hearing how much people love the products and knowing they’ve become part of someone’s everyday self-care routine is what makes running a small, independent business so rewarding.

Now settled into her shop in Brampton, Chesterfield, Lisa is excited to continue developing Elsie Moss Botanical. With more space to create, she plans to expand the range of natural skincare, vegan soaps, and aromatherapy products, and hopes to introduce in-shop workshops in the future — offering a welcoming space for the local community to learn more about natural skincare and sustainable living.
