Inspiration comes from everywhere. Rebecca draws ideas from interiors magazines, Pinterest, shops, art galleries, hotels, and restaurants, as well as her travels. One of her biggest influences is nature, particularly when it comes to colour. She believes that bold colour combinations often work best when they’re inspired by the natural world - after all, nature rarely gets it wrong.
When it comes to colour, Rebecca’s signature addition is black. Used sparingly, she sees it as a way to add drama, contrast, and definition, helping to frame a space and elevate the overall design.
Her advice to first-time buyers is simple: ignore trends and focus on what you genuinely love. Rather than copying what’s popular or what others are doing, she encourages homeowners to think about how they want their space to feel and to trust their instincts when making design choices.
Rebecca isn’t one to follow rigid design rules. Her philosophy is straightforward - if you love something, use it. Creating a home should be personal, not dictated by what others think.
One of her favourite parts of the job is working directly with homeowners, as well as with property developers and estate agents through property staging. Transforming empty houses into welcoming, lived-in spaces that help buyers imagine themselves there is something she finds especially rewarding.
